Angst-o-rama personified

I own a dvd with three of James Dean's lesser known short films. The back cover provides three descriptions of his screen persona: "misunderstood angst-ridden youth with shades of crazy mixed-up psycho delinquent" / "sad, mad, passionate, pathetic, earnest, whimsical, smart alecky" / "androgynous rebel and perpetual adolescent"

That's what I'm talking about, you... delicious little... delicious thing, you! I don't think I've ever seen anyone cry quite so angrily. You wore jeans the right way, and you were a narcissist, too, weren't you - don't bother denying it. I've seen the Torn Sweater series.

Thom Yorke reminds me of him, wonky eye notwithstanding. It's the whininess, and it's an acquired taste, I do realise that. It's not that I can't see their point at all, people who can't abide that sort of behaviour. It is admittedly childish and, more often than not, infuriating. Even I get rubbed the wrong way by it, occasionally.

But mostly it just makes me tender and gleeful, all at the same time. Plus, er.... how can I put it - horny?
